Full name: Anu Magi (Sir Thomas Vebruke of Taladin)
Age: 24
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Guild: Mage (will also be a mercenary or an assassin at any point.)
Alliance: The Taladin Alliance
Magic: An alchemist mage from an institute secretive to royal magical families secluded in Taladin. (but he isn’t royal hehe.)
Birthplace: Taladin
Strengths: Forging things, creating currency from old overused objects, playing with dangerous chemicals, and creating Serums and Vaccines.
Weaknesses: Ice, bans from works, keeping a clear head
Description: Not very large, with short, brown hair, ruffled all around. A hood covers his face, robes trailing from behind him. His face holds a scar, given to him by a bandit who raided his kingdom searching for great loots.
Weapons: A staff forged with steel and fire elemental power. A round ball of crystal at the top, made of molten gold, kept hot by the staffs powers, and kept together by ancient magics.
History:
When Vebruke was young, he was always a money hog. He would keep as much money to himself as possible, and buy rune stones of many proportions, and one time, when he was almost 15, he had bought himself a large steel sword, stained black, and kept it sheathed and with him everywhere he goes. When he was 16, his older brother, the wolf boy, the townsfolk called him rushed into town, screaming and warning of a bandit. Everyone sighed, as he would play these tricks all the time, and no one was prepared. He was telling the truth, and a bandit holding a large crossbow barged into the slum hall, and fired a bolt into the wolf boy. Sighs came from the crowd, and he pulled out a steel sword, and attacked everyone, stealing their money. Then he came across Vebruke. He was young, and had been very scared. He pulled out his black stained sword, and slashed at the enemy, and it was dodged. The bandit shoved out a hand, and grasped the hilt, and attacked, intent to kill the boy. He survived with a scar, by pretending he was dead. The Bandit stole his sword, and made off with the treasure.
Then, the orphaned boy was abducted by people in dark robes in the middle of the night. He awoke with amnesia, and the anesthetic kept him from moving. He looked at his captors, as they drew blood samples and compared them in the lab. The next day they took him out to a study, and began teaching him the skills of an alchemist. They agreed that the boy was great indeed, and eight years later, he attacked the guards with spells he had stolen through the nights and studied in free time, and escaped. He ran right through a large round swirling rainbow circle, and appeared in the center of Taladin, a free man. He looked to his right hand, his fire steel staff in his hand, and dark robes on his body.
RP Sample:
Vebruke, although he was an alchemist, also liked to explore. One day, he went to the court, and bought the deed to a ship.
As he approached the ship, the midday sun beat down on the sea, glistening. He smiled, and crossed the gangplank to his ship. He rose anchor and pushed off from bay. Day after day he spent on the ship, the more weary and tired he grew. He had been on ship for three months now, and had been spending his time studying coordinates and looking for new lands. After a half-year he had been nowhere good, and the winds sailed his ship back, all the way to the harbor of Taladin. He went to the pantry, no real food was left. Dead rats and salt water spills were all that was in there. He tapped his staff on the floor, swinging the wooden doors shut. He left the ship, onto the cobblestone of solid ground. He slowly ambled to his home, taking in the sights, and trying to remember his childhood. 16 years, gone. He thought it was 16 years. It could have been 20, but the institute said it was 16. He scratched his warm head, heated from the sun boiling through his black robes. He collapsed onto his bed, a smirk on his face, and dozed off.
